Two Big Black Snakes Chase President Out of his Office

The President of Liberia, George Weah, has been chased out of his office by two big black snakes. This scenario conditioned the President to work from his private office in his house, according to the BBC reports

A further interaction between the President’s Press Secretary, Smith Toby, and the BBC uncovered that the two black snakes were found in the foreign affairs ministry building, site of the official office on Wednesday.

As a result of this, an order has been given to all the staffs to stay away from the offices until April 22.

According to Mr. Toby, the suspension from work is “just to make sure that crawling and creeping things get fumigated from the building.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosts the office of the president, so it did an internal memo asking the staff to stay home while they do the fumigation,” he said.

What Happened to the Two Snakes?

Unfortunately, the two big black snakes were never killed. During an attempt to get rid of them, they escaped through a little black hole.

Meanwhile, the police and presidential security were seen guarding the President’s residence in the capital, Monrovia with fleet of vehicles; escorts that are parked outside his residence.

How the Snakes Entered the Building

According to Mr. Toby, there is a high tendency for snakes and other crawling things to enter the building. This is because the drainage system is not strong again as the building has been there for many years now. Therefore, it is possible for snakes and other likely animals to crawl up to the building.

Finally, there has been a lot of clean-up and clearing of things that are necessary to be cleared. The President of Liberia, George Weah will be resuming back to his office on Monday after the fumigation by the police.

According to Mr. Toby, even if the snakes are not found and get rid of, the President will still resume and be at alert with security men.
