Shiites Continues Protest

After the three days clashes on the 28th,29th and 30th of October 2018 with the Nigerian Army and Police, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMS) popularly known as Shiites resumed peaceful protest yesterday 29th November 2018 along Asokoro area of the federal capital territory.

The members who are calling for the release of their leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife came out in their numbers and marched peacefully around the AYA-Asokoro area chanting songs for the release of its leader who have been detained by the government with the case before a Kaduna High court.

The protest so far have been peaceful as of the time of filing in the report as protesters were marching while some distributed copies of press release to onlookers around ECOWAS commission headquarters in Asokoro ,Abuja.
In a brief chart with Sacer Uche, one of the protesters stated that the group will never get tired till the Federal Government release its leader.
