The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to the 2021 Owerri Prison Break as he disclosed on his Twitter handle on Easter Monday morning after the prison break.
According to him, no one deserves to be in any Nigerian prison when killer herdsmen and Boko Haram militants get arrested, freed, and rehabilitated.
If Miyetti Allah terror herdsmen & other murderous #Fulani groups, including Boko Haram insurgents can be arrested, freed and rehabilitated by this neo-colonial Fulanised @NGRPresident, then no single soul deserves to be in any prison in Nigeria.

According to one Barr. Nnokwe George, Nnamdi Kanu’s reaction and statement about the Owerri Prison Break should not be misunderstood because he had referenced the Federal Government’s method of operation where they catch notorious terrorists, herdsmen, Boko Haram insurgents, and other first-class terrorists from the Northern part of the country and refuse to give them the necessary punishment as the law demands.
Rather, the Federal Government will always set them free, declare them as repented criminals, and recruit them in the military right away.
However, in reaction to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s statement, some people have disagreed while others agreed with him. One Jude Emeka has commented that:

These and many more comments continue to spring up in reaction to Nnamdi Kanu’s tweet about Owerri prison break 2021. However, the 2021 Prison Break has been associated with the IPOB by few people who seem to be ignorant of the happenings.

The Bible says “my people die because they lack knowledge”.. Nigerian Government lacks everything lackable, and this is why things continue to get worst.
Nnamdi Kanu is a great man… I believe he knows what he’s saying, even though some people are misunderstanding him.
My own take is that the Government and the security agency should be blamed for this act. There is no security in the country. Nnamdi Kanu is speaking out of the experience, you should remember that he was also jailed without doing anything, but the people who commit the most deadly atrocities in the country do not go to prison, rather the government always says they have repented and recruit them to join military.. Now, who’s fooling who?
