There has been a very strong speculation going on in the country about the cloning of President Muhammad Buhari. While some offer their positions on the take, the Information and Culture Minister has dismissed this with a wave of hand. –  Lai Mohammed Chides Nnamdi Kanu-

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has reacted to insinuation by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu that President Muhammadu Buhari was cloned in London.

Speaking during a media briefing in his office in Abuja, on Thursday, Mohammed said the idea was “not only absolute idiotic but also sheer bunkum.”

The Minister said the insinuation “does not require any response from any responsible government or its agencies.”

On the arrest and prosecution of a human rights activist, Deji Adejanju, Mohammed said that being an activists or an opposition member does not confer any immunity on anyone who flouts the laws.

“What Nigerians must and should know is that the law is always there to guide their conducts. So, it does not matter whether you are in government or opposition if you flout the law,” he said.
