While the Federal Government continues to give 180 million Nigerians hope that they are winning the war against the dreaded group, Boko HARAM on the other hand have continued to attack and kill many and in recent times the Military which makes everyone worried.
The sect have on many occasions successfully attacked the Nigerian Military. The ugly development have set fears down the spine of many siting the fact that if the sect can attack armed Military successfully what is the fate of the Civilians without arms.-The lies and truths of boko haram-
The claim by Lai Mohammed that the sect have been degraded was however disputed by the Shehu of Borno, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Abubakar Umar Ibn Garbai Elkanemi.
The disclosure by the monarch during the visit of President MOHAMMED BUHARI has raised doubt on the minds of Nigerians about the level of sincerity of Lai Mohammed who has continued to insist that the set have been degraded.
Many have asked questions about who to believe on the issue of conflicting reports. The SHEHU of Borno who is on ground however can be seen as one who knows the true position of things for it is said that “Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches”.
It is time to go beyond politicking and face reality. The fight against Boko haram seems not to be ending.
