Open Letter to Buhari

More reactions have continued to trail the delay in the declaration of winner for the Imo North Senatorial election result by Independent National Electoral Commission  (INEC) weeks after the election was concluded with reports showing the PDP candidate Hon.Patrick NDUBUEZE.C on the lead. – Letter to Buhari –

Recall that the incumbent senator allegedly declared himself winner of the election. His joy was cut shot when INEC declared the Imo north senate winner  as not decided. One would wonder why the APC candidate who is said to be trailing in 3rd position would allegedly declare  himself winner of the keenly contested position.

Many well meaning sons and daughters of OKIGWE ZONE have continued to call on INEC to do the needful by declaring NDUBUEZE.P.C the winner.

*Attention: Your Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari*

_The President_
_Federal Republic of Nigeria_
_Aso Rock Villa,_
_Abuja._

Your Excellency,

*Re: Imo North Senatorial Election*

1. Sir, I had to resort to an open letter because I do not have another alternative.

2. As you maybe aware, the result of Imo North senatorial election is yet to be declared and a winner announced, weeks after the election took place, while other senators-elect from various parts of the country have been issued with certificates of return.

Hi, Kindly Subscribe to our Website

3. You came on board as the captain of Nigerian ship because of your integrity and zero tolerance on corruption, unfortunately, some people are making all efforts to misrepresent your interest by dropping your name in support of illegality.

4. Sir, use your good office to insist that the right and correct thing be done by asking INEC to respect the wishes of the masses. Remember, sir, that when you came to Owerri, you asked us to vote whomever we want. That we have done. Your quick and patriotic intervention will make all the difference.

5. Sir, I know you will agree with me that one has to be a senator first, through the right channel, before aspiring for any other position in the Senate.

6. Because of your busy schedule, I will like to stop here knowing that you will not allow the masses interest be thwarted by just a few people. We look up to you as the father of the nation, to once again use this opportunity to prove to the whole world that you are not for anybody but for the masses, who continuously have identified and supported your government.

7. I have written this letter on behalf of Okigwe citizens, who I have their mandate to speak for.

8. Long live Mr. President.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

*Dr. Uju Onyechere*
