The news about Atiku who has not visited US in 13 years would not have caused ripples if not for the propaganda raised by the ruling APC days after ATIKU emerged as PDP presidential candidate.
The Waziri of Adamawa, made the surprise visit to the US on Thursday January 17th 2019 after landing at Washington Dulles International Airport.

The PDP presidential candidate’s ability to visit the US was shrouded in controversy, over the belief that former Vice President was facing corruption charges. His inability to visit America is however said to be connected with President Bush Presidential Proclamation 7750 which affirms the denial of US visa to foreign officials involved with corruption and other supporting legislations by the congress as Alhaji ATIKU was alleged to be involved in money laundering.
Recall that on Thursday November 29th 2018 the minister of information Lai Mohammed cautioned US government about issuing Visa to ATIKU. He told the American government to be mindful of the timing, in order not to give the impression that Atiku has been endorsed by the U.S. government.

In his words “We understand and appreciate the fact that it is the prerogative of the U.S. to grant a visa to anyone who applies. “However, we want the U.S. to be neutral and be wary of taking any decision that will give the impression that they are favoring or endorsing one candidate over the other.
“Impression must not be created that the U.S. government is endorsing one particular candidate over the other.’’ The argument raised by the minister left many with too many questions.
Atiku is said to speak at the US Chamber of Commerce on Friday. Atiku has however paid a visit to Chris Smith, a member of the Republican Party, and representative for New Jersey, who is serving his 2oth term in office.
Now that ATIKU has visited AMERICA and the Propaganda against ATIKU dealt a heavy blow, many are now wondering what the ruling All Progressive Congress will say.
