Two Nigerian Jet fighters belonging to the Nigerian Air Force have crashed in the Katampe area of the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja, on Friday.
The jet fighters were doing a practice for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations when they conflicted and crashed.
One of the pilots of the jet has been confirmed dead after treatment trials in the hospital. This military pilot who is identified as Sqn Ldr Baba Ari died hours after the mishap.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and others have visited the injured pilot of the Air Force fighter jet which crashed on Katampe hill earlier today.
They visited him at the Defence Intelligent Agency (DIA) Hospital in Abuja, where he is said to be responding to treatment.
However, Pres Buhari has let out their condolences with the family of Sqn Ldr Baba Ari , the other pilot that died at the final rehearsal for the 58th Independence Anniversary.
Sqn Ldr Ari was buried today with the awareness of his family members.
Due to the terrible nature of this incident, the total number of people injured has not yet been ascertained though one of the pilots has been confirmed dead.
