It is expedient to note that the zone is considered as the only undeveloped zone in the state as their sister zone Owerri and Orlu are said to be steps far from okigwe zone in development.

The people have continued to give outburst over what they call “CONSTITUENCY PROJECT ON PAPER WITH NOTHING ON GROUND”.

The people of Okigwe zone have however vowed to make sure that their votes counts in the forthcoming election. The senatorial seat of the zone which is believed to be a keen contest between three leading candidates will be conducted on Saturday 16th 2019 with many believing  that through DIVINE MANDATE, FRESH AIR is sure in the zone. NDU truly BUEZE.
